Over the past 25 years PMG has launched 29 investment property offerings and two unlisted property funds, totalling $250 million. In addition, we are entrusted with the management of a large number of privately owned commercial properties in the Bay of Plenty. 

Founded in Tauranga in 1992, we are one of the oldest and most established property and funds management businesses in NZ. Many of our investors have been with us from day one, and in one case we even have three generations of one family invested with us. We don’t know of any other property or funds managers who can say that.

PMG’s unique business model as owners, managers and investors is intrinsic to our success. It provides us with deep in-house expertise in property strategy, management, technology and body corporate administration. It also provides us with economies of scale, that we leverage for cost efficiency, maintenance reliability, and leasing across our nationwide network of approved suppliers, contractors, tenants, and agents.

How We Work

PMG have grown significantly over the past 2 years since the brand was refreshed. Going forward their plan is to grow the business across all divisions, predominately on the back of investment funds under management – however the body corporate and asset management divisions will continue to source business from outside of the group also.

Having business externally helps not just profitability through leveraging scale, but helps the overall profile and credibility of the group as a whole – e.g “our property management and body corporate services are so good, that they’re not just used for our own properties, but paid for by serious external commercial property owners as well” or “PMG has over $200m of commercial property within our funds under management that we manage, our excellent management skills have driven industry leading returns for our investors for over 25 years – these same practices are used to drive value on our commercial property management and body corporate contracts”.
